Papa Topo is an excessively pop group. They play melodic and catchy songs, their rhythms are repetitive and the audience can remember them easily, and the apparently dreamy and ordinary lyrics hide fears and worries. The sound of their song is very eclectic since it is a compendium of all the different music listened by the members of the group. Among their influences, we can find disco music, classic indie-pop, Spanish folklore, songs from the 80s, baroque music, bossa-nova, boleros or the 60s yé-yé. Therefore, there is place for everything: danceable hits, sad ballads, moments of rave… In these years, they have played around the country, and they have been part of national and international festivals.
