Evocación is a “choreographic recital” based on the pieces of the most famous composers from the two nationalistic schools of our country. In addition, it is a journey around emblematic pieces of the Spanish classical music such as Suite Iberia (I. Abéniz), Goyescas (E. Granados), or La vida breve (M. de Falla). The recital explores a high-quality repertoire (both in music and dance), and, at the same time, it shows a concert model which is rare in current stages.

J.J. Hidalgo and Nieves Portas have joined to pay homage to music and Spanish dance in a unique meeting where the virtuosity of the piano and the charm of the dance go together, where delicacy and strength take shape, where sound and sight appear, and where all the elements come together to unite as a whole.
