Mavica, a young original artist from Cartagena who lives in London, presents her first EP: ‘Gone’. MAVICA exploits all her creativity, with sounds that reflect ripeness and freshness in equal proportion. Heavily influenced by Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Daughter, Ben Howard or Amy Winehouse, Mavica has got her own style, very personal and unforgettable. Despite it looks like a beginning, ‘Gone’ means many things: it is a trip across the stages that the artist has lived since she composed the first song, ‘Friethers’, up to the last one of the EP, ‘To Lie Alone’, composed in London, where finally Mavica seems that has found the place in which to consolidate her musical career.
