The Black Barbies is an original and innovative proposal of a powerful eclecticism: this band from Barcelona brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds, both stylistic and geographical (Spain, Italy, Africa), which is why, from the first note, they create a most extraordinary explosive mixture of sounds and flavors. With the powerful voice of Desireé Diouf as front woman and the musical direction of guitarist Oriol Riart, they have a fun and sexy section of winds and vocals, with a fresh, catchy and sensual sound, which combines own songs and cover versions of hits of all time. Blending jazz, swing, soul and funk, their music is a journey through different styles of black music and pop.
