Considered the "most avant-garde trio of the Spanish jazz scene", Sumrrá was born 19 years ago and is, without a doubt, the Galician jazz band with the strongest personality and the most international diffusion. They have six albums in the market --the last two ones, published by New York record label Clermont Music. Selected for an official exhibition at the international fair WOMEX, they achieved great success for their innovation and virtuosity. Their recently presented sixth album, ‘6 mulleres’, is dedicated to six great women of all time and places because of their struggle for human rights.
