'La Malcontenta' is the portrait of a woman, strong and vulnerable. A girl, a young woman trying to get rid of some chains, clinging to others. A passionate story, full of stone paths and thorns, where the protagonist defies his destiny, which seems to have already been written. It is also a history of brigands in a wild Mallorca, that of the first decades of the nineteenth century, land of hunger and hardships; a collective map of a time, and also the resemblance of a thief in particular, a free and merciless soul -Joan Durí-, and that of those who continued to seek bread every day, at the price what was it.

El Somni Produccions is a theatre production company founded in March 2012 by Joan Porcel. The crisis scenario has not deterred the desire to make a committed and quality text theatre. Both adaptations of classics and new contemporary dramaturgy form part of the catalogue of productions that have been staged in theatres, alternative venues and non-conventional spaces. To live the show in proximity is the philosophy of the production company. We deeply believe that the main virtue of theatre is to know how to adapt to the environment in order to reach very far with our message. Productions: Mamaaaaaà!
