‘Moonlight’ is a choreographic project focused on poetic structures, a staged exploration of dispersed meanings, a malleable reality. This proposal rediscovers persistently established identities, unfolding and queering normativity. ‘Moonlight’ functions as a quick machinery of change and disruption. ‘Moonlight’ plays with Disney cultural and emotional heritage.

Darío Barreto Damas and Aleksandar Georgiev are two artists with a large background in dance and choreography. They work between Stockholm, Skopje, Sofia and Tenerife. They are co-creators together with Zhana Pencheva of the international cultural project STEAM ROOM, focused on dance, choreography and performance.
