Jordi Maranges took his first musical steps with El Diablo en el Ojo and El Piano Ardiendo. He then launched his solo career with the album El baile de los cangrejos, an existential diary with neo-romantic and baroque touches; and followed by the EPs Circo del amor; El cazador, with love as the main running theme; and Món físic, more intimate and autobiographical.
