Jotes, cassettes, ibiza trips, electro-tonades, pitchers, rebosillos. In ‘Sa Mateixa’, two dancers and three musicians have found a common language that reads the past to bring it to the present. Through a family photograph, a journey through tradition takes place from contemporaneity. With sensitivity, poetry and humor draw and blur tonades and electronics, polka, jota, countryside and city, play and ritual, the spontaneity of life and the eternal presence of ancestors.
