'Les cançons perdudes' is the effort to assemble a dispersed puzzle that lacks many pieces. 'Les cançons perdudes' is documentary theater in search of memory against oblivion, memory against indifference. It is the reconstruction of a life, that of Margaret Zimbal, who fought on the front of Mallorca during the Spanish civil war, despite being German. Following her steps, we travel with her from Berlin to Madrid, Mallorca and Zaragoza to witness her fight, to finally close a circle that reveals that yesterday may be today.
