‘Galejar’ is a dance show that wants to reflect on the relationship between movement and sound. On the expressive capacity of these two qualities understood as a unit of action and meaning. But not only this. ‘Galejar’ also wants to link these qualities with the concept of work and its historical evolution. Its meaning and its connotations from preindustrial societies to current post industrial societies. And he wants to do it from a contemporary look, without nostalgia, far from romanticism, folklore and complacency.

UNAIUNA was created in 2017. Their first piece Dosis was the winner of the Sólodosendanza Award 2016, with the prize of a tour of Costa Rica. They have two more street pieces: “All inclusive” and “Goosebumps”, and two more for the theatre: “Galear” and “Hacemos como que bailamos”. As a company they have participated twice in the Acieloabierto network, in the Contactzones Europa programme, in the RedDanza en Escena and have also been part of the PLATEA catalogue. Their pieces have been performed in theatres in Barcelona, Mallorca, Spain, and Europe and the last piece was premiered at Metropolitan dance.
