Obsessed with glitter and vintage gear, AGOST spreads sounds halfway between shoegaze and electronic dream pop. With textures that navigate the orbit of bands such as Beach House or Slowdive, they build their music from dreamy guitars, hypnotizing synthesizers, enveloping voices, distortion and melodies that are born from loops, thus creating a sonic journey of infinite layers.
They were officially introduced to the world in 2018 with Dim Out (Hidden Track Records). In May 2020 they released Tramuntana (Hidden Track Records), a double single. With these new songs they advance a conceptual work that they have presented throughout the year under the name of The Wind Palace.
The Wind Palace fluctuates from nature to studio. This is explained through two facts: the first is experiential, due to his shared residence between the city and the Serra de Tramuntana, in Mallorca. The second, in his search for sound, influenced by the two worlds, but above all, by the rural world and the winds. The result is many instrumental, complex and complementary pieces that come from a large collection of analog and digital instruments, accompanied by visual participation.
They have performed on numerous stages and presented their powerful and solvent live performance at festivals such as FIB, Focus Wales (UK), Eufònic or Primavera Sound.
