POI presents a physical search for juggling and manipulation, but also a handcraft research regarding the construction of spinning tops that I design, create and build. This exploration of different types of woods, shapes, formats and support points has allowed me to create personal and special spinning tops, as well as one of the largest spinning tops in the world, weighing 45 kg, which I throw with a rope of more than 15 meters.
Merging circus arts with the popular game of the spinning top and the roots of Mediterranean culture is the main goal of this contemporary show.
The last phase of the creation had the support of the external view of Tomeu Amer. Some exhibitions have already been carried out in Festival Circaire d'Alcúdia, Mostra d'Arts Escèniques de Santa Eugènia, EiMa de Maria de la Salut and the Festival Internacional de Teresetes de Mallorca.

In my 20-year career as a juggler and object manipulator, I've worked and investigated all the classical circus elements: balls, masses, mono-cycle and knife throwing, among others. These objects have been the elements used in my creations together with the combination of new languages and mixing with other disciplines. Also, with the Cia. D'es Tro I have investigated the handling of new materials, such as peacock feathers or sludge. My personal research through these elements has brought me closer to my way of doing and acting, which is personal, original and with a strong character. In October 2020, I participated in the World Spintop Contest, winning the first place among 22 players from different countries, so I am currently the world champion of freestyle spinning top manipulation. Throughout my career I have worked with Circ Bover and have also been involved in social projects such as Sonrisas al Desierto or Payasos sin Fronteras.
