The main purpose of the duo formed by Llorenç Prats on piano and Esteban Belinchón on cello is to combine classical literature with modern music, especially from the 20th and 21st centuries. Feeling well connected with composers of the classical and romantic era, such as Brahms, Schubert and Beethoven the two musicians show the continuation of styles in many different compositional techniques and cultural settings. A fundamental fact, in this ambition is the desire to transmit and develop a quality artistic activity illustrated by the knowledge acquired by performers in their formative stage in schools of recognized international prestige such as the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, the University of Music and Performing Arts from Graz in Austria or the Ensemble Klangforum Wien.
