In 2017, the Ludwig Band began playing the songs that Quim Carandell had been accumulating since he was a teenager. From Cuartelillo d’Espolla, the group’s operational base and former Civil Guard barracks, the group rehearses, evolves and perfects these songs.

Pedantic folk sounds, shepherd songs, and heptasyllables are heard talking about life and rhyming. Perhaps everyday themes, perhaps not so much, with unexpected twists and secrets that are discovered over time.
