This show meets the following Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda:
Joana Brabo -Barcelona 1975- studied Advertising Graphics in Groc, Barcelona, with postgraduate degrees in Graphic Illustration (EINA Barcelona) and Editorial Design (IED Madrid). At the same time, she is accepted as an intern at Estudio Mariscal, where she will end up working for 3 years. At the same time, she is trained in musical language, piano and harmony at the Taler de Músic and takes different voice workshops with Alessandra Patruco or Ilona Schneider.
She has developed her work in the field of expanded graphics, where she has had the opportunity to unite graphic arts, visual and calligraphic poetry, with performative, scenic and sound art.
Her poetic work is exhibited on 4 14-meter buses in Tarragona with her project Poetry in Motion, curated by Künstainer Collective, who defines it as "the first permanent exhibition on a means of transport" that also consists of an exhibition space and performances inside.
Her latest productions, Noise per noies, De zero a zen and Zen x zen, invite attendees to deepen active meditation through noise, silence and creative play. Language juggling, percussive contortions and cacophonies, poetic and sonorous acrobatics, found in the third phase, etc. Joana Brabo's speech fuses her phonetic poetry with that of her clarinet and midi keyboard or with the voices of the attendees themselves. She works on the vulnerability of existence mixed with surrealism and humor as central axes.
In 2011, she works as a poetic rhapsode in the program L'hora del Lector on Channel 33, where his phonetic poem Tu tu tothom becomes an unprecedented viral phenomenon in Catalonia.
