"People will hardly forget their gods." This reflection by Caro Baroja is the starting point for an exciting work on our ancestors, our identity, our tradition… SERRANA is a profound dialogue about transformation and its consequences. SERRANA is an open and transversal show. In it we will find video documentary work that is based on the oral tradition of a town and tells us the history of the Serrana, through the journalistic style of the interview. On the other hand, we have other contents of a more anthropological nature where the Serrana appears as a pagan divinity. A show without text that through dance, circus, video projections, folklore, takes us into a universal human story of transformation, power and revenge. The story unfolds in three: past, present and future There are three elements: Heaven, Earth and Water.

The Cía Albadulake arose from the meeting of two artists Antonio Moreno (Cáceres), a juggler (trained at the Montreal Circus School), and current director of the company, and Ángeles Vázquez, a dancer (Córdoba), (trained at the Amor de Dios Center of Madrid) and also director of Albadulake. A meeting that materializes in the year 2000. Albadulake was born as a need for expression by its directors, to develop an open vision of a show, without text, dynamic where movement, music and games are the protagonists. His productions follow an indisputable line, that of the multidisciplinary show. A seal in the always own direction that starts from innovation and creativity in its purest form. The five Albadulake shows are suitable for all audiences. The company has been part of the stable program of national and international theaters with more than 35 countries visited on tour, major festivals, has been required in school circuits, and private events.
Cía Albadulake committed to the creation of the performing arts, with culture in rural areas, with the need to visualize women on stage, committed to both tradition and the artistic avant-garde.
