Particularly attracted to contemporary music, Laura Farré Rozada has recorded two solo piano albums inspired by French music of the 20th and 21st centuries, in which she also performs works by composers from all over the world. The French Reverie (2018) and Nimbus (Seed, 2020) are also a tribute to Olivier Messiaen in which she demonstrates vast technical mastery, expressiveness and connection with each composition. Likewise, she explores the creative possibilities of water and continues with the aim of disseminating contemporary repertoire to the general public. This repertoire is made up of works by international composers: it includes the most important French composers Maurice Ravel and Pierre Jodlowski; the Japanese Tōru Takemitsu and Dai Fujikura; South Korea's Unsuk Chin; and the Icelandic Anna Þorvaldsdóttir, one of the most interesting composers of the moment. In addition, Nimbus presents two record premieres: a work by the composer Josep Maria Guix and the commission from the Chinese composer Yixuan Zhao.
