One of the main lines of work of Alter Face since its foundation in 2011 has been to promote the creation of many works that propose new sound perspectives and instrumental techniques in the repertoire for two pianists. Piano manipulated by two performers is the name given to the instrumental training to which they have dedicated a lot of time and effort, making possible the premiere of pieces that, with very varied resources, propose new paths within music for this instrument, far beyond the keys. The concept is expanded in 2022 with a work for midi and video controllers by Michael Beil, which Alter Face will premiere in the 22-23 season.
