Morning Drivers is the project of Miquel Serra, Luis Iglesias, Mariano Costa, Miquel M. Thomas and Sebastian Budding. Coming from Ibiza, they have been an active engine in the culture of the island for more than 15 years as a result of this and other separate projects.

The beginnings of the group occurred in mid-2013, but, however, it was not until 2015 that they decided to compose what was their first work: Perspectiva. A first album, released in November 2017 and that collects, to a greater or lesser extent, the influences of his previous experiences.

With Perspectiva they made a first national tour visiting the cities of Barcelona and Madrid twice, as well as Valencia, Granada, Córdoba, Albacete, Salamanca and Zaragoza. A very enriching first tour that opened many doors for them and even allowed them to share the stage with great artists on the national scene such as Zahara, Ángel Stanich and L.A, among others.

Nuevas Intenciones was the second installment of Morning Drivers. Recorded and mastered at Magrana Studios (Ibiza) under the production of Joan Barbé and Omar Gisbert between the months of May and December 2019. In February 2020, the Ibizan group presented eleven songs sung in Spanish that gravitate around the vital experience since the point of view of optimism that, taken live, positioned the Ibizans as one of the most solvent bands on the national scene, with an unbeatable staging.

‘Cada Impulso’ is the first single from their upcoming work, an indie-pop cannon with overflowing energy. The lyrics, positive and encouraging, aims to serve as a boost to anyone who has had a very hard time and needs to reconcile with himself. The song opens with an electronic arpeggio that serves as a cushion throughout the song, a black bass drum in the verse and an overwhelming chorus based on guitars and impossible-to-forget pop melodies.
