Within the sound universe of Mon Joan Tiquat you will find everything. He comes from classical music but electronica freaks him out and after discovering jazz he only knows how to improvise. He may be a singer-songwriter but he is also an orchestra; the musician is surrounded by instruments to interpret his album: “Es temps i sa llavor”. The theme of the album speaks from the pieces of apple between the teeth to the countries of Africa that we do not know, all filtered and colored by his inevitable point of view of the world -pessimistic, nostalgic, sarcastic-. A style that flirts between the absurd and the truth, is inspired by the tempo of nature and everyday life and tries to find the fascinating and unique part of our day to day. He likes to dislodge in order to advance, he grasps the eclecticism of musical styles as a game of freedom and expression fleeing from a commercial product, although he maintains a fragile balance between pop music and the avant-garde.
