Gemma MAR is a Mallorcan singer-songwriter. Les dues som una was the first seed and tone of this experience, the first step on the road so that Gemma will show her two faces, her vulnerability, with her heart in her hand. She decided not to hide her fears in order to fulfill her dream of singing. Thanks to the illusion and the good reception she had from those closest to her, Gemma took action to record the first version of the song Ambas somos una in an amateur way. Unforeseen events appeared, some simple and others more complex; from all this commotion, verses, words and sounds emerged that gave shape and consciousness to the spiral of sensations of the moments he was experiencing. From there, she found an unexpected partner for this new passion: what started as a support, ended up being a stimulating and continuous task of composition between her father and her. And in the end, with Plomes noves and Soy Miedo en la mochila, Gemma was already ready and thirsty to record more tracks, although this time, in a professional studio. Through coffee conversations with some knowledgeable people of the Mallorcan musical world, he met Jaume Gelabert, producer and owner of Tramuntana Estudis. As soon as they met they agreed to work together. Two months later, they began the studio work up to a total of five songs. They were two very intense and productive weeks, with hours and hours of pre-production, recording instruments and finally the voices and the hearts. The result of all this was concretized in incredible themes, very careful both on a technical and artistic level. And so, thanks to Jaume Gelabert, they were presented to Produccions Blau, which shows interest. From here, everything took a little more shape: Produccions Blau together with Manangelment recommended that a minimum of 10 songs be produced to be able to make a full-length album and also to be able to present enough of their own songs. Gemma immersed herself again in the composition to release five more themes, which took a few intense and full months from top to bottom, until having the rest of the compositions finished after endless hours spent in the studio in a second round of production ; now with learnings to apply and more consolidated capabilities.
