The Majorcan composer Pere Bujosa began his musical adventure in a music-loving family surrounded by classical music and rock and blues bands that play in his house.
He started as a classical contrabass student in Palma, at the same time he became interested in modern music and began taking electric bass classes and playing with bands from the local Palma scene. Later he decided to move to Barcelona to study at the Conservatorio del Liceo in Barcelona and in 2015 he participated in an exchange program that allowed him to study at the University of North Texas (USA) with the legendary double bassist Lynn Seaton (Count Basie Orchestra, Woody Herman ). Graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory in Jazz Performance (Eujam Master) he has collaborated with international artists such as Salvador Sobral, Ben Van Gelder, Antonio Serrano, Hanna Paulsberg and has given concerts in different countries of the European geography such as Portugal, France, Germany, Denmark , Italy, Norway and Denmark.
In 2017 he released his first work as leader of Who's Holland, with his Pere Bujosa Group sextet and collaborations with singer Magalí Sare and producer David Soler (Love of Lesbian, Jonah Smith…).
