Mar Grimalt was born in 1996 in Felanitx. At the age of 18 she left Mallorca for Madrid to study Occupational Therapy, and continued with a master's degree in Music Therapy.

With a firm voice, she swings the guitar strings to try to diminish the worries and comfort the fears. Her sonorous self oscillates between crudeness and nudity, always open to experimentation and play. She presents her album Espurnes i coralls, an invitation to close your eyes, look inside, meet the void and pour it out.
