Escalar un gegant is a light tragicomedy with a sweet and sour taste, which investigates father-son relationships (and family relationships in general) that deteriorate with time and distance.
It does so by proposing an unexpected encounter between a father and a son who have to live together for the first time in a long time due to a storm that devastates the municipality and that will keep them for days between the same four walls, with little more to do than talk. and try to understand each other.
The play poses a personal dilemma between the two characters. It does not try to be politically correct or defend a specific philosophy, or to extract a single moral. He tells us a personal experience that exposes the positions of two real characters with their defects and virtues.
