"Hermana" is the reunion of two sisters following the abortion of one of them. The contradictions that once separated them will now lead to the rebirth of their bond. The play takes the world of herbal medicine, childhood, part of the history of women's health and the social inheritance of judgements and belief systems. It captures the cultural changes about the freedom of the female body and the imaginary of mass demonstrations for women's rights. The play seems to be a vertex between solitude and accompaniment. It is written in short dialogues and its structure has important dramatic turns, unfolding in a flow of emotional changes. The design proposes a space formed by a hanging installation, made of knitted and crocheted fabrics in yarns and wools, with an abstract form, organic look and suspended against gravity, metaphor of fluids and organic fabrics. Its dimension will allow the actresses to interact in it. The music brings a contemporary Latin American feel, with a tender and joyful cumbia as leiv motiv and other soft melodies with different emotional tones, all with guitar, percussion and delicate interventions of seed instruments.

We are a theatrical platform dedicated to the dissemination of new dramaturgy, that is, that written by authors who reflect aspects of life in the contemporary world in a profound, unique and innovative way, which, due to their artistic quality, challenge and stimulate us. We are currently producing stage creations based on dramatic texts, residencies for dramaturgical creation, publications of texts and interviews with playwrights. Previously we have carried out other activities such as exhibitions, readings, gatherings and workshops. We started in 2013 and in 2014 we formalised as a non-profit cultural corporation.
We have received support from public and private funds for the realisation of projects, as well as self-financing others, maintaining a permanent and sustained activity over time. Since 2014 we have run the Dínamo Residency, a creative instance that brings together authors with works in the process of being written from different regions of Chile and since the sixth version (2019), with the support of Iberescena and Fondart, the call has been open to Ibero-American authors. Between 2014 and 2016 the residency was directed by Ana López Montaner; between 2017 and 2019 it was directed by Cristóbal Pizarro Schkolnik, between 2020 and 2021 it was directed by Bruce Gibbons Fell and currently (2022) it is directed by Carlo Urra López. We have premiered two Chilean plays Rocha by Felipe Vera (2016, Winner of the 7th Festival de Teatro Joven de Las Condes) and Nanas by Leonardo González (2018, at Matucana 100, Santiago Municipal Literature Award 2014 and Best Playwriting 2017, Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors, New York); and three foreign plays The Effect by British playwright Lucy Prebble (2016 and 2017, Teatro UC), The Christians by American playwright Lucas Hnath (2019, Teatro Mori) and #malditos16 by Spanish playwright Nando López (2019, Sidarte - 2022, Teatro UC).
All directed by Ana López Montaner.
