Five sisters give life to Meohadim. This contemporary dance proposal aims to be a wake-up call about what is imposed, the single way of thinking. Presented as an expression of the eternal confrontation between the old and the new, of a conflict determined to tear down walls, in the face of the immobility of cultural and religious imposition. After what begins as an innocent game full of innocent rebellion, the cry for freedom, struggle and sisterhood develops with intensity. Movement, music and voice come together vibrantly in this story of protest that is as cruel as it is warm, moving but also full of hope and life. It is a work that explores the conflicts of contrasts. As the walls around them grow, the five girls create their own world, full of candour and innocence, which the aggressive social environment is determined to enclose.
