The composer and pianist from Malaga, Jose Carra, is one of the most creative pianists of the new generation of Spanish jazz musicians. His work, strongly influenced by classical music and jazz, makes reference to many other styles such as rock, pop, electronic and popular music. Carra is capable of creating a very personal and recognisable musical universe. In 2020 he received the 1st Prize for Artistic Production from the La Caixa Foundation and in 2017 he received the Record Work Award from the Association of Jazz and Modern Music Musicians of Catalonia.
