The Manacorí pop group Reïna released their second studio album on Friday, October 6, Retirada a temps (Bankrobber / El Jardí Amagat), which revolves around defeatism and sportsmanship. After winning the Sona9 in 2020 and the publication of her debut album, Reïna proposes 10 sharp and transparent songs that recall the sound of pop and rock groups from the 80s and 90s. To achieve this sound they have counted on the production of Mallorcan musician Jorra Santiago (Jorra i Gomorra, Pujà Fasuà, Roig...), who has contributed to enhancing and deploying the elements that make up the songs of the Manacorí quartet.
Queen are Pere Amer (guitar), Carme Vives (voice, keyboards, guitar), Adrià Mayordomo (drums) and Biel Riera (bass and synthesizer). Michael Mesquida took charge of the recording of the songs and the mixes at Estudis Favela de Palma, and participated in the additional production of some of the songs. Víctor Garcia has mastered it, and the covers of the disc and the previews are the joint work of Adrià
Mayordomo and Carla Pérez Vas in the art, artistic direction and photography, and the graphic design is by Tomeu Mulet.
Retired on time will have two official presentations, one in Mallorca and one in Barcelona.
