Everdeen makes music for dreamers. Climaxing walls of sound, anthemic choruses, and a mix of elegiac twilight and euphoric optimism defines this indie-rock trio's sound. Their latest singles "I'm Sorry" and "Fairweather Friend" build upon the bold grandeur of their album "Stay", sounding both familiar and modern while blurring the boundaries of edgy indie and catchy pop. Formed by San Franciscan lan Stahl and Turkish/German singer Sümeyra in California, both eventually relocated to Stuttgart, Germany where they met local drummer Thommy Mross. A truly intercontinental trio was born with a sound on par with the standards set by the UK or Scandinavia. As the trio began to hone their sound and generate buzz, it wasn't long before they were playing international showcases and club concerts all over Germany. Their 2021 full-length album "Stay" showcased the trio's talent for mixing the ghostly aura of artists like Florence + the Machine or London Grammar, best heard in the tracks "Colours" and "Liar" with driving pop-rock guitar anthems, as exemplified by the euphoria of opener "This Place" and the four-on-the-floor anthem "Heart Shaped Gutter". Another highlight is the synth-favored "Do You Wanna Play", featured on the soundtrack of Universal Picture's "Alle für Ella". Hot on the heels of "Stay", 2022 saw the band release the standalone singles "Fairweather Friend" and "'I’m Sorry" both build upon the sound established of "Stay" while showcasing the band's pop songwriting and affinity for synth wave sounds even further. For 2023 a new series of singles is planned as well an EP containing acoustic reinterpretations of singles from "Stay".
