Anibal Llarena, writer and musician of Canarian folklore, and Lajalada, project of the singer and composer Belén A. Doreste, come together in this duoset that unites root music, Canarian folklore and ancestry with the present, electronics and modernity.
Aníbal Llarena has been in contact with the world of Canarian music for years, who is a connoisseur and disseminator of the dances and traditional and folkloric musical instrumentation of the Canary Islands. He has also been a writer of short stories, poetry, children's literature and greguerías. Currently accumulating works such as: Benahoare, mi tierra; Luís Díaz: un viaje al pasado de Tegueste y Narrador protagonista.
Belén Álvarez Doreste is 27 years old and has been dedicating herself to music for more than ten years. She has had projects like Bel Bee Bee and has now been with Lajalada for a few years. Lajalada is a more electronic adventure than the previous musical experience, with passages and songs written in English and Spanish. In 2021 they presented their first album: "DMÑNNS" (demañananosé).
