At the end of their careers, two great actresses, lifelong enemies, are forced to co-star together in a new show. Mesa italiana' plunges us into a world full of envy, fame, success and failure, where the decisions we make in life mark our destiny. With a frenetic pace and hilarious scenes, the characters will show us the lights and shadows of artistic life, exploring the tensions and joys of competition and the search for recognition.
A show that speaks of generational change, of the lack of opportunities, of the inexorable passing of time in the world of the performing arts from the point of view of four women. A tribute to all those actresses who have struggled throughout their lives, enduring difficult times in a profession in which artists are often not valued as they deserve.

El Somni Produccions is a theatre production company founded in March 2012 by Joan Porcel. The crisis scenario has not deterred the desire to make a committed and quality text theatre. Both adaptations of classics and new contemporary dramaturgy form part of the catalogue of productions that have been staged in theatres, alternative venues and non-conventional spaces. To live the show in proximity is the philosophy of the production company. We deeply believe that the main virtue of theatre is to know how to adapt to the environment in order to reach very far with our message. Productions: Mamaaaaaà!
