The piece will go over the human experience of the painter and treatise writer from Menorca, Pasqual Calbó i Caldés, throughout his life stages: as a young artist who lived in Venice and Vienna; as an adventurer who sailed to the exotic Americas of independence; as a painter of frescos and tableaus, and as the writer of scientific and educational pieces, before his hands were paralysed. All of this, within the historical context of an 18th century Menorca which, desired by European powers, was opening up to the world.
