FIRA B! WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 9TH UNTIL 12TH OCTOBER AND FROM 2ND UNTIL 5TH NOVEMBER

You can now submit your proposals to take part in Fira B! 2023!

 

The Balearic Institute of Studies (Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB)) has opened the artistic call. All artists interested in taking part in this new edition for the islands’ professional market of music and performing arts can apply until 29th January 2023 at the following link: http://www.firab.org/en/p//how-to-act/

 

Fira B! 2023 will take place from 9th until 12th October and from 2nd until 5th November in Mallorca. This year, for the first time, the programming for music and performing arts will be in different weeks. Hence, the performing arts programme will take place on 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th October; and the music programme, from 2nd until 5th November.

 

The IEB highlights the enormous success in the professional field and attendance at the 7th edition of Fira B!, which was attended by almost 10,000 people this year. Almost double the previous year. At Fira B! 2022, there were 54 musical proposals and 26 performing arts proposals. 356 artists, 196 musicians and 160 performing arts professionals took the stage. More than a hundred artists more than last year, in which 255 artists took part. For the professional sessions of Fira B! Pro, a total of 558 people have already been accredited. Over five days, more than fifty round tables, conferences, presentations, workshops, debates and talks have been programmed, both from artists and show organisers. Attendees at the Fira B! Pro professional sessions highlight the contacts they made that they wouldn’t have been able to make otherwise, with good opportunities for business and exchange.
