Fira B! participates in the Tanzmesse International Dance Fair in Düsseldorf

The Fira B, through the Institut d'Estudis Balearics, participates in the Tanzmesse International Dance Fair, in Düsseldorf. It does so in The Spanish Dance Match!, a collaboration with Dance from Spain, which organizes, for the first time in this edition, a pitching session with 10 prominent Spanish artists and creators, including the Mallorcan company Baaal. 

The aim of the event is to explore the richness and diversity of contemporary dance, discussing topics such as migration, critical femininity and cultural influence in their works. The artists will share their unique approaches and lines of research, highlighting how their work reflects and redefines the identity of contemporary dance creation in Spain.

From the Balearic Islands, the companies Mariantònia Oliver and Maya Triay are also participating in the Tanzmesse Fair.
