Published 10/11/2021THE 6TH EDITION OF FIRA B! HAS KICKED OFF, THE BIGGEST SHOWCASE FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE ISLANDS' ARTISTS ABROAD
The professional music and performing arts market of the Islands is inaugurated by Jansky.
Over the next four days, 18 stage performances and 38 concerts are scheduled in different theatres and stages in Palma.
Tomorrow, Thursday November 11, the 6th edition of the professional music and performing arts market of the Balearic Islands, Fira B!, kicks off. It will be held until Sunday the November 14 in Palma (Mallorca) with the goal of showcasing and promoting the latest and most representative creations of Balearic artists.
Fira B! takes place in Palma and its programme will be held in emblematic spaces and venues in the city, such as the Teatre Xesc Forteza, the Teatre Catalina Valls, the Teater Mar i Terra, the Teatre Principal, Es Baluard and the Plaça Major.
Fira B! 2021 will be inaugurated by Jansky, who will perform tomorrow Thursday at 10.30 pm at the Xesc Forteza Theatre.
Fira B! differentiates 5 stages according to the different musical styles: pop/rock/indie, jazz, electronic, classical, world music and contemporary. The other musical performances tomorrow Thursday are: Skygge, Maria Jaume, Guiem Soldevila, Alanaire, Agost, Salvatge Cor and The Prussians at the Aljub of the Es Baluard museum. At Es Baluard's outdoor courtyard will perform: Persona, The Trikinis, La Ludwig Band, Peligro!, Jack in Water, Ombra and Go Cactus. And at the Teatre Xesc Forteza: Blai Vidal Aïgo Projects, Tugores, Cala Joia, Gipó, Anna Ferrer and Jansky.
The performing arts performances scheduled for tomorrow Thursday are: "Partycitypate", at the Mar i Terra theatre; "Anava amb bicicleta i em van dir terrorista", on the Rambla (in front of the sculpture by Eduardo Chillida); and "Nua (Radiografia d'un trastorn)", at the Teatre Principal. In the performing arts programme there are proposals for text theatre, dance, new languages, physical theatre, performance, circus and street theatre.

Within the framework of Fira B! also takes place "Fira B! PRO, les Jornades Professionals", with the aim of being a meeting place for professionals and helping them to give visibility to their projects, as well as facilitating their projection abroad.
The Professional Conference will begin tomorrow at 9.30 am at the Teatre Mar i Terra with the round table "Creation in today's reality". At 4pm the Workshop "Discover the world of music creation with artificial intelligence" will be held with Skygge.
There will also be professional conferences in the field of the performing arts, which will be held online tomorrow, Thursday. Highlights include " Meet the talent buyers" and " artistic residences, creative process and artistic development".
